Investment casting valve gland

In our foundry, the valve gland is produced by investment casting process. Such technics can control the required dimensions and cast the valve gland with a good quality.

Materials can be used for casting the valve gland are carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel. The usually used specifications are ASTM A216 WCB, WCC, Stainless steel 304, SS316, etc. 

Valve gland is one component of the valve assembly. The valve gland is used to cover the valve gate, worked as the sealings.

To guarantee the quality of the application, the casted valve glands are also press tested. Some products required to be air press tested. But some required to be hydraulic press tested. The requirements should be applied according to where the casted valve glands will be assembled.

Surface of these products can be painted with anti-rust painting or powder coated according to customers' requirements.
